About the Author

Paul Michael Kramer was born in New York City during the baby boomer period. He was initially in retail furniture sales. After gaining valuable experience he became a manufacturers representative. With an opportunity he could not turn down, Paul purchased his own furniture factory in Brooklyn, New York, where he began manufacturing and designing custom furniture which he marketed to interior designers at his New York City showroom. After a slow but steady growth, he began to encounter insurmountable roadblocks which prevented Paul from reaching his goals.

He decided to change professions and became an independent contractor for a major credit card processor. Although successful almost immediately, Paul decided to start fresh somewhere else. In 1995, about one year after his son Lukas was born, the family moved to Hawaii. Paul and his wife Cindy established Hawaiian Travel Club, a full service travel agency in Maui. Today they have six travel agencies located throughout Hawaii.

In addition to designing and manufacturing custom furniture, Paul had many great marketing insights and dabbled with various inventions. In 2001, he began using some of his creativity to write poems and has continued to this day creating this collection of poetry.
